Andrew Henderson
An excellent guide containing a wealth of information on the ecology, distribution, and economic uses of this group of tropical and subtropical plants. Also available in paperback.

Betrocks Guide to Landscape Palms
Allen Meerow
Every page is packed with information and clear photographs. Aimed to gardners not needing a great deal of scientific informatioin. Book describes growth patterns, human hazards, and much, much more. Good value, many good reviews of the book.

Ornamental Palm Horticulture

This comprehensive treatment of palms around the world covers biology, propogation, environmental influences, mineral nutrition and fertilization, insect and disease pests, container and field production, transplanting, and landscape and interiorscape management.
